Ybor City northeast of downtown is the historic Cuban-cigar neighborhood turned nightlife district. 7th Avenue runs the walking-bar corridor — The Ritz (club space), The Hub, Club Prana (the multi-floor club), and dozens of bars. The Gaspar's Grotto tradition still holds.

SoHo (South Howard Avenue) near Bayshore runs the more polished cocktail-bar scene. Hyde Park Village has the neighborhood bars; Seminole Heights north has the newer craft-beer scene.

Florida 2 AM last call at most venues, 3 AM for some Ybor venues under the historic overlay. Ybor is walkable once you're there; Uber in from downtown.
