Gasparilla Music Festival Takes Over Meridian Fields This Weekend

Gasparilla Music Festival Takes Over Meridian Fields This Weekend

One of Tampa's most anticipated spring events arrives tonight. The 2026 Gasparilla Music Festival, presented by Water Street Tampa, runs April 10–12 at its new downtown home, Meridian Fields. The 2026 lineup is 30-plus artists deep, with headliners Mt. Joy (Friday), Two Friends (Saturday), and Gov't Mule (Sunday) supported by Shakey Graves, Jai Wolf, Drive-By Truckers, Bryce Vine, and GZA.

Gasparilla has long been one of the Gulf Coast's best mid-sized music festivals — diverse enough to cross genre lines, intimate enough that the crowd on the front rail gets to see every artist up close. The new Meridian Fields footprint is walking distance from Water Street's hotels, and the weekend has been positioned alongside the 30th Anniversary Tampa Bay Blues Festival (also April 10-12) for a full city-wide music weekend.

If you're going: rideshare surges heavily around the festival footprint Friday and Saturday nights. The Water Street hotels are the closest walk in; TECO streetcar connects Ybor City for pre-festival dinners.
